Drake Insurance began serving the Insurance needs of Central Pennsylvania in September of 1978, when Bill Drake purchased the Duncannon Insurance Agency. In 1985, the Duncannon Insurance Agency moved from Duncannon to nearby Dauphin, PA and was renamed Drake Insurance Agency. On January 1, 2003, Drake Insurance Agency became Drake Insurance, Inc.

Since that time, our office has grown from a “one-man” operation to three full-time agents. Our Staff has a combined experience of over 70 years in the Insurance industry. As an Independent Agency licensed with a number of sound Insurance Companies, we are ready to solve any or all of your insurance problems.

In July of 1999, we moved to our new location, just 2 Miles off of Route 22/322 on Route 225 North (Peters Mountain Road) in the Clarks Creek Commons Office Complex. Our regular hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 8:00am to 5:00pm, Eastern Time, and Friday 8:00am to 3:00pm. Evening and weekend hours are available by appointment.
